Title: An Alien, a Time Machine, and a Hero
Author: Joey Rogers
Published: July 2017 by GegoDyne, LLC
Pages: 239
Description: Five years have passed since Skylar Holden saved the world. He’s no longer a loser, and his life is now on track. His job is going well. He’s respected. He makes plenty of money. He even has a girlfriend. He has everything he ever wished for. Unfortunately, he’s learning what it’s like to live a normal life and deal with the daily grind. He misses the excitement and challenge his previous life provided, but now he’s too afraid to risk anything in fear of losing what he’s achieved.
Alfred, the extraterrestrial who helped Skylar save the world, just got fired from his job as The Intergalactic Corp’s observer on Earth. He’s been banished to live among the humans for the next two millennia without interfering in their development. This is a light sentence for an alien, but there’s a problem. An asteroid is on a collision course for Earth, and it’s large enough to wipe out all of humanity—along with Alfred.
The asteroid will not reach Earth for ten years, but Alfred’s going to have to find a way to save Earth if he wants to survive himself, and he’s completely cut off from The Corp and their resources. He’s got a plan, but he’s going to need some help along with access to some of the advanced technology he’s stashed on Earth—in Skylar’s stomach.

Read “An Alien, a Time Machine and a Loser” before reading or purchasing this second book.
Once again, Joey Rogers has made me think, smile, and laugh all on the same page. In this second of what appears will be a three book series, Mr. Rogers has taken me on a science fiction journey of the best kind propelled by Skylar Holden and his alien friend, Alfred.
Mr Rogers has written a smart story building upon Skylar’s first adventure with plenty of movie and television sci-fi references sprinkled in just for fun. His theories of time travel and its implementation is both unique and hilarious and a breath of fresh air for the genre.
If you love sci-fi, computer technology, aliens, and nerds you will have a fun read with ATMH!
